Our Mission

We believe in the importance of community, the pursuit of wisdom, and the pinnacles of human achievement. We seek these ends in small seminars devoted to the deep study and discussion of great works. Through study, reflection. Through reflection, conviction. Through conviction, the courage to live well.

Our History

The Vienna Symposium began in late 2013 among a small group of friends of various intellectual persuasions. We began gathering periodically to discuss great thinkers and their works. In 2024, our community became an official Verein. We have been fortunate enough to have had participants join us from all over the world.
